It was definitely a fun day with Suzie and Holly.
Today is my 1-on-1 digital photography class again, this time with 2 charming ladies : Suzie and Holly … this is actually a 1-on-2 class 🙂 .
This class is a little different from the previous classes. The class was held in “Twig & Fig” ~ a very interesting and beautiful stationery / printing shop in Berkeley.
Suzie is the owner of “Twig & Fig” , doing mostly invitation cards ( majority is weddings & parties ). Suzie told me that she and her staff Holly have been expecting this class for the last few weeks since she signed up for the class ( thanks 😛 ). I was also very excited since I knew that she is also in wedding related industry. Today is not only a photography class for them, but also a very informative day for me to know about her business. ((I’m going to talk more about her invitation card business in the next blog post.))
We spent 2 hrs in the morning went through some basic camera settings, then an hr lunch break in an authentic Thai restaurant. After lunch , we spent 3 more hrs practicing and sharing. Suzie used her own Canon xti to practice, but Holly doesn’t have a camera yet so she was using my extra Canon 5D to practice.
